Towne Refuge Information

Your Hosts
Ron and Carol Towne both work outside the home and live on the premises in a separate apartment. They have two friendly outdoor dogs.

Breakfast
Your hosts provide a continental breakfast.

Location
This home is located NORTH OF TOWN at Milepost 14 North Tongass which is about 25 minutes from the airport ferry and 30 minutes from downtown Ketchikan. It is less than a mile from Knudson Cove Marina and Clover Pass Resort.

Transportation
You should consider renting a car. Since you are about 12 miles north of Ketchikan, a taxi would cost about $35-40. A rental car is about $50 per day or $275 weekly. Your hosts may be able to help with transportation from the ferry terminal or airport ferry on the Ketchikan side.

Pet Policy
Pets may be allowed with prior approval. Hosts have pet rules which will be discussed at the time of booking and a pet deposit is usually required.

Deposit and Cancellation Policy
A minimum deposit of the first night plus tax is required or 50% of the total amount if reserving more than two nights. Personal checks and major credit cards are accepted. Upon receipt of your deposit, a confirmation will be sent by mail or fax with your hosts name, address, phone number, directions, and map. The deposit will be refunded less $15.00 plus tax if cancelled at least two weeks prior to your scheduled arrival. The two week advance notice will be waived if cancellation is due to a medical emergency in the immediate family.
